Douglas Porter and I went to see Superdrag in Knoxville, TN this past weekend. They are one of our favorite bands and we have seen them at least 10-15 times over the past 10 years. When the original members got back together for a 10 show tour, we thought, "Well, one more time can't hurt us". So off we went to their hometown. The road trip was one to remember with great food, great music, even better conversation & laughter and the changing of the leaves in the NC & TN mountains. oh, and the show was PURE ROCK!!!. It was nice to cruise the open road with an old friend in his silver VW beetle, which by the way was the most comfortable car I have ever ridden in. It is a true blessing from God that in this ever changing world in which we live and after these last 10 years, true friendship still remains. For that I am truely thankful. Fun! I'm finally going to see Douglas this weekend- it's been months. Is his bug not red anymore?!
